In May 2024, Qingdao Zhubainong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. officially launched a project with Qingdao University on molecular detection of crop disease fungi. The aim of this collaboration is to utilize advanced molecular detection technology to accurately identify pathogenic fungi in crops, providing scientific and effective prevention and control basis for agricultural production.

Qingdao University will utilize its professional technical knowledge and experimental equipment to conduct detection and quantitative analysis of pathogenic fungi in crop samples provided by Qingdao Zhubainong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and establish a fluorescent quantitative PCR molecular detection method for major crop and fruit vegetable pathogenic fungi.

The project started in May 2024 and is expected to last until the end of 2025. During the cooperation, both parties will fully leverage their respective advantages. Qingdao Zhubainong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. will provide relevant samples and preliminary data, while Qingdao University will be responsible for technical research and development and testing work. This cooperation will not only help improve the accuracy and efficiency of crop disease detection, but also provide strong support for disease prevention and control in agricultural production, promoting the development and application of agricultural technology.
